Reflections #AtoZChallenge 2025

Reflecions 2025 #AtoZChallenge

  • I am grateful I left Wordpress for Blogger when I did. The Wordpress blogs were being problematic for commenting.
  • Substack seems to only allow people who sign up to comment, so I was unable.
  • I started following five new blogs
  • I commented on all possible blogs. (Visual below)
  • It was great to see how many blogs made it to the end!

My A to Z 2025 theme was a fantasy story. (And some of the process of writing it as well.) 🕮

  2. I couldn't see the screenshots too well but there are a lot of bloggers participating in the a-z challenge. I think this year is better than the last. Thanl you for hosting along with the other a-z people.

    Have a lovely day.

  3. Wordpress was a bit problematic for me, as well. I've been dealing with this Blogger thing for a decade, so I'm good. Plus, I get paid. What? I don't get paid? Nuts. That explains a lot.

  4. As always, getting through the writing, commenting and replying left insufficient time for much visiting so now my reading begins and your story is near the top of the list, Lenni...

  5. Loved your story, J. And thanks for all your work on the challenge team.

  6. The whole A - Z thing kind of passed me by this year. Totally forgot about it! I shall have to go around and see what people have done.

  7. Interesting that we both have had problems with commenting, but have gone in opposite directions for the solution. I suspect that as Wordpress has become the basis of many commercial sites now, they care little about their blogging roots. But we will overcome!

  8. I thought the commenting issue was an internet connection thing... LOL. I'm glad you liked my comments. I was so overwhelmed in April I hardly got around to commenting much -- or finishing visiting sites... When the book is done, I'm first in line to read it :-)

    1. Thanks. I might publish this as a novella after the giveaway ends and I have a name, the last line in the story.

  9. Wordpress is always a bit of an issue for commenting. Several other blogs wanted visitors to log in somewhere or to jump through some or other hoops before they got to comment, not always easy.
Thank you for the shout out and for hosting.
