Shout-out to Alex and the awesome co-hosts for today:
Dec 3 question - As a writer, what was one of the coolest/best gifts you ever received?
As a writer, the best gift is a review.

I believe in the value of reviews so much that I wrote a book about how to easily write them!

ReplyDeleteThose are, indeed, valuable.
ReplyDeleteAgreed -- reviews are important!
ReplyDeleteThe power of a review for our books is extremely important for the search engines. If nobody knows about us or our books, how can we find new readers? Help other people with our words? Thanks J!
ReplyDeleteVery true about book reviews! I try to make sure to leave them for the books I enjoy as I know it's so important.
ReplyDeleteReally scared about writing reviews, even though I've marked countless uni assignments - and was assessed as ' good' Maybe your book will help.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder about how important reviews are. I'll admit, I typically don't write them unless I can give an honest five stars, because the literary world is small, and some authors (and agents) hold grudges. I suppose I need to get over that.
