ReplyDelete🤞🏽 Hope so! I've worked in my IWSG answer too.
DeleteI like many different type of genres but one I enjoy very much is detective fiction. I am looking forward to reading your story during the challenge.
ReplyDelete😬 I don't know if I should say this... but the Existence series is an Urban Fantasy without any detectives.
DeleteSounds interesting as usual.
ReplyDelete🤞🏽 I certainly hope it will be!
DeleteHow exciting about your book, and I look forward to reading your posts.
ReplyDeleteThanks ☺
DeleteInteresting. You will write on author's experience in writing the book. This year, I am writing new posts in my popular blog on industrial engineering. Theme A to Z of Industrial Engineering Theme reveal post. A to Z of Industrial Engineering
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogging and Reading.
I don't know much about that topic. Fun learning opportunity.
DeleteHaving finally got my first book finished , I look forward to reading your thoughts and experiences. I guess I like science fiction (but not fantasy) and detective/police procedurals... Back at you with a question - I heard a theory that we all , when young, identify with and base our developing selves on a character from a book we have read. If you agree, then who was it for you?
ReplyDeleteHow young?
Delete🤔
I would have had to find a character with which I could identify?
I was in my twenties before I found a book with a non-offensive Native American character. (I'm not saying they don't exist, just that I didn't find one before that. I couldn't even find a copy of Dances with Wolves as a teen.)
Umm, how about other people identifying? Because in seventh grade, I had some female friends who "identified" me as Logan from the Baby-Sitters Club series. Logan and I have a lot of differences, but we're both male and could hold a conversation with females.
If you find the kind of book you mean with a male Lenni-Lenape character, please let me know. I've been dying to read it for nearly forty years.
I guess I could sort of identify with a combo of two of my main characters, minus the special powers. But I'm not saying which two.
If I had a book to promote I'd do what you're doing. What a great way to get more attention drawn to what you've written. Best of luck with things in April.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all you've been doing with the Challenge. You and the Team have been doing a fantastic job with it!
Lee
It worked out pretty good for Fractions of Existence when I used my alphabet of characters for the challenge WAYYYYYYYY back in... uhhh... 2012? Maybe 2013.
DeleteI’ve already waited too long for your second in series! I’m doing books for April, so remember to check out F!

❤ Grateful for the love! Looking forward to F! (Book 1?)
DeleteI'm not sure I have a favourite genre, though I do enjoy fantasy. I'm currently going through a thriller/who dun it phrase. I look forward to learning more about your book during April. Luv Lu x https://lulubyplace.wordpress.com

Sweet
Deleteno time for challenge
ReplyDelete☹
DeleteGreat theme for this month, at first I thought after reading the title that its genre would be sci-fi, maybe like last year´s story, urban fantasy sounds quite cool, too. Now I´m more intrigued. Looking forward to reading your entries!

ReplyDeleteHi Lenni :-)
Jut wanted to say hi and see how the challenge is going. I'm not taking part this year. Bit sad abotuit, but really I have too much on my plate.
Your challenge seems to go strong. I love the cover of your book!
I am doing A to Z for, I think, the 8th time (math is not my strength). I'm trying to catch up on visiting some blogs right now, so I just read one of your posts. My favorite genres? Tie between SF and dystopian literature.
