My theme for the 2026 A to Z Challenge is plotting Book Three in my Existence series — Cave of Existence.
The final distraction from the main goal.
Jez breaks it off with the lightning guy (from letter M) when she learns her mother is sick. She goes to India to be with her.
Have you ever had to be there for a dying family member?

Yes, in fact three years ago during the challenge my step dad died... it was rough. I did my T – Post for 2023 in tribute to him.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Barbie
Sorry you had to endure that.
DeleteMy mother's death was quick. In the hospital on a Tuesday. Dead on Friday. I could have made it back there to see her, I suppose, but I did not. I had seen her a couple months previous. If it had been more drawn out, I probably would have gone.
ReplyDeleteThat's rough. Though, less suffering is a mercy.
DeleteYou're going to make me cry, aren't you?
ReplyDeleteIf I do my job well.
