#atozchallenge N is for Nick Wilford, Nibbles, Neighborly, Nightmares, Not Perfect

#AtoZChallenge 2021 April Blogging from A to Z Challenge letter N

An alphabet of J's favorite blogs

N is for http://www.nickwilford.com/
I love THIS blog because:
  • A fellow speculative fiction author!
  • I've enjoyed what I've read of Nick's writing. (One of his books is on my TBR from the letter B.)
  • Great WEP judge and valuable IWSG member.

#atozchallenge Usborne books for Children

Usborne has done it again with “Nibbles”! It is no wonder why this book is popular with so many families. Nibbles is a book monster on the loose and he is chomping his way through classic fairy tales, changing the outcome of the story! This book is so unique with nibbled holes in the pages and books to open within the book. Your readers will be asking for more! “Nibbles: The Book Monster” is the original, followed by The Monster Hunt and The Dinosaur Guide. These are intended for ages 6+, while Nibbles Colors and Nibbles Numbers are board books, better for the younger readers.

    • Picked up on a black Friday sale
    • It sounds like a book version of Desperate Housewives
  • Nightmares of Caitlin Lockyer (Nightmares Trilogy Book 1) by Demelza Carlton
    • The unlikely hero becomes the prime suspect.
    • Psychological Fiction, Psychological Thriller
  • Not Perfect: A Novel by Elizabeth LaBan

  3. Usborne books are the best, have been for a long time! Nacho topping? Well, sometimes just nacho cheese sauce! Or, the cheese, sour cream, refried beans, and guacamole.

  4. Nibbles sounds fantastic. Pity I don't have any kids in my family, but I might get those books for my friend's grandchildren.

  5. Nibbles chomping through classic fairy tales and adding his own endings is a fantastic take on fractured fairy tales. Love it.
