#atozchallenge Q is for Bookish Quest, Quiet Time Music, Qualify, Queen

#AtoZChallenge 2021 April Blogging from A to Z Challenge letter Q

An alphabet of J's favorite blogs

Q is for https://www.bookishquest.com/
I love THIS blog because:
  • It has book reviews
  • It has the letter Q in the name

#atozchallenge Usborne books for Children

“Quiet Time Music Book” is from Usborne’s ‘Press-a-Sound’ series and is a perfect combination of beautiful illustration and crisp, realistic sounds. While short in words, the books in this series are nothing short of engaging! The buttons are touch-sensitive so they are easy for little fingers to press and there is a discrete on/off switch on the back of the book. There are many other books in this series that are equally as engaging, including Woodland, Jungle, Farm, Night, Zoo, Vivaldi, Mozart, and more! Great for infants through preschool!

Q is for these books on my TBR:

  • Qualify (The Atlantis Grail Book 1) by Vera Nazarian
    • "The year is 2047. An extinction-level asteroid is hurtling toward Earth, and the descendants of ancient Atlantis have returned from the stars in their silver ships to offer humanity help." -- This reminds me a LOT of my Existence book series
    • Teen & Young Adult Science Fiction & Dystopian Romance eBooks
  • The Hundredth Queen by Emily R. King
    • "Faced with the danger of a tournament to the death"
    •  draws on Sumerian mythology for inspiration

On the 21st, the A-Z letter is R. On the 22nd, it's S. Then, on the 23rd, it's T. (When I'll post mine.)
"Use the letter of the day, as well as whatever A-Z theme you've chosen, to inspire your WEP entry!"

QUESTIONS:
  • Have you been to this favorite blog of mine?
  • Have you read any of these books?
  • Who is your favorite Queen (fictional or real)?
  • Would you fight to leave Earth forever to go to an Atlantis utopia?

  2. My favorite queen is Queen Valri from Sharon Shinn's novels of the Twelve Houses series. Valri is not the protagonist of any of the books. She is always in the background, but she is mysterious and loyal and strong.

  3. As I'm in a mood for reading everything Alice in Wonderland... the blind fury known as the Queen of Hearts is my choice today as favourite queen.
