#atozchallenge Usborne books for Children

“The Odyssey”, while a known classic, takes on a new spin with Usborne’s Graphic Stories collection. These re-creations of classic literature were adapted into graphic novels to simplify and intrigue today's readers! The comic style illustrations help bring these action-packed stories to life! This series is best for ages 10+ and especially great for those children interested in comics or who are reluctant readers. Some other great classics in this series include, King Arthur, Robin Hood, Dracula, Sherlock Holmes, Three Musketeers, Thor, Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, and more!

  1. I have been to the blog, because I saw it on the challenge list. I have not read the books. The graphic novel idea for classics is a nice one, introducing them and hopefully sparking a further interest. I just hope they stay true to the originals. I am not doing WEP because I don't know what it is. Well, I do now, because I looked it up, but no, I'm not doing it.

  2. I read Odyssey when I was in high school. At that time, I set myself a goal to read as many world classics as I could. Odyssey was one of my favorites, but Iliad was better.

  3. I was featured on Operation Awesome as a debut author :-) I love the Odyssey!

  4. Classics into a graphic novel would be neat

  5. I've only visited Operation Awesome a couple of times. Sometimes I think I started writing too soon.
