K is for https://iainkellywriting.com
I love THIS blog because:
- Iain Kelly is an exceptional writer.
“Keeping us Healthy” and “Keeping us Going” make up Usborne’s Family Heroes collection. These picture books introduce young readers to some of the essential workers keeping our communities functioning safely. These books are a great way to open important conversations with our children!
"Shipping only available to USA and military bases from the provided Usborne link." - Kathryn Mowers (Consultant for the Dorner family)
K is for these books on my TBR:
- King's (The King Trilogy, Book 1) by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff
- currently free on Kindle
- Dark Fantasy
- Possibly myth & legend (#14 in Greco-Roman Myth & Legend Fantasy eBooks)
- Sounds like the tv show Lucifer, and a bit like Xavier in my Existence books
- Kingdom of Embers: Extended Finale (Kingdom Journals Book 1) by Tricia Copeland
- Won a copy during YASH
- YA Vampire book
- YA urban fantasy
- "she comes face-to-face with a handsome, full-grown version of her childhood imaginary friend"
- Disintegrate by Christine Klocek-Lim
- "When you can manipulate matter like putty" - reminds me of my Existence books
- "Teen & Young Adult Paranormal & Urban Fantasy eBooks"
QUESTIONS:
- Have you been to this favorite blog of mine?
- Have you read any of these books?
- If you're a writer, do you seek out books that remind you of your own work? (Or is that just me?)
I've added the books to my Goodreads TBR -- with all your great recommendations, my TBR is going to explode! LOL. I enjoy reading books that remind me of my own, too.

Thanks for sharing another great blog to follow.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check out that blog!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for including my blog in your A-Z, I feel quite honoured! :-) :-)
ReplyDeleteI have been to the blog. I enjoy reading about his stories, they seem very inclusive and well-planned. I tend to seek out books to emulate, but not necessarily the other way around.
ReplyDeleteI've visited Iain Kelly's site several times this month but haven't heard of any of the books on your TBR list today. While I lean toward mystery novels, my reading habits and book club choices take me to numerous genres each year. And research for my own writing sends my reading choices in countless directions. But I always say every genre includes its own mysteries.

Ian's stories are great. Sometimes a little to real to be fiction even!
